Teaching

I began my career in education in Southern California.  I worked at several schools and in several different teaching positions before moving to The San Joaquin Valley to help serve the students of the Central Valley.  Over this time I have served as a teacher, a new teacher BTSA mentor, a curriculum writer, department lead, outside consulting coach, mathematics consulting presenter, and technology trainer.

My current educational employment is in Porterville CA for Bartlett Middle school.

For most of my teaching career I have focused on instructing middle school students in mathematics.  That is where my true passion lies and I frequently get comments about how I am able to make difficult concepts easier to understand.  Throughout my career I have also tried to focus on how to bring mathematics to life.
